Description

(* free shipping only for shipping to addresses in Germany) The Master System was originally released in Japan in 1985 as the SEGA Mark III and was a direct competitor to Nintendo's Famicom home console. While the Master System's game library isn't particularly extensive, it's packed with quality and is home to some of the most well-known video game series such as Alex Kidd , Fantasy Zone , Shinobi and Phantasy Star . SEGA® Master System: a visual compendium is a tribute to the amazing pixel art, product design and graphic design of this groundbreaking 8-bit system. The book is officially licensed by SEGA and is the first of its kind to be published for the Master System. Around 200 games are presented, with the focus, as the title suggests, on the visual presentation, accompanied by appropriate soundbites, anecdotes and memories. In SEGA® Master System: a visual compendium, readers will also find a number of major features and interviews with developers and artists, which ensure a successful mix of images and words on the 424 pages. The foreword is by Mark Cerny (Sony) and there are interviews with Mutsuhiro Fujii, Takashi Shoji, Steve Hanawa, Rieko Kodama and others. SEGA® Master System: a visual compendium is lithographically printed to the highest standards. This ensures that the colours in the book are truly vibrant and the pages have a high quality, luxurious feel. The book has a spot-lacquered cover, spot-lacquered dust jacket and a thread-stitched binding. Each book also includes a lenticular effect slipcase and comes with a pair of 3D glasses! product features English , Hardcover: 424 pages. 170 mm × 230 mm. Fold-out pages.
